Quote of the day

“World War I broke out largely because of an arms race, and World War II because of the lack of an arms race.” ~ Herman Kahn

Welcome to the Yeager Family Library

The Yeager Family Library is located in the March Field Air Museum and is open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. The library collection has about 7,000 titles which range from early aviation to American military history to the space race. If you want to schedule an appointment to use the library please call 951.902.5204.

If you are not sure where to begin, two of our docents have compiled lists of books from the library that they recommend.

In 2015, the library moved to Koha Integrated Library Service which allows the museum to host the collection online. Over the last three years, our great volunteers have catalogued over 6,500 items into the system. Therefore, I would like to thank Kathryn, Joanne, Theresa, Hayden, Efram, Viviana, Shawn, Vita, Constance, and Frank for their hard work as well as their dedication. If a topic is not found in the search, it might be because we have not yet catalogued it.

Unfortunately, at this time the library does not have public Wi-Fi.
